Confirm this happens on Xbox as well. Moment the war table is touched, the game freezes, then crashes. 

the game crashes all the time for my system and my brothers all the time ps4. especially when he joins mine for co-op or when we back out of lobby and it tries to throw us be into the stupid lagging town where people are spamming towers and spells, instead of throwing us back to where we were and where we want to be our private non-lagging tavern. that and since the update the colors or items are all screwy greens sometimes org, pinks blue, blues org, etc.

My friends and I recently found this game and have been experiencing this problem as well. It's very annoying and I have no idea how to fix it.

I had this issue when my friend and I were in a private tavern (he is the party leader), then we start and complete a mission.(He has summary disabled for some reason) I press return to tavern. I returned to the tarvern then waited for my friend to return to the tavern via the 90 seconds after a match. Game tells him he is not the party leader. I use the war table because we think I am the new party leader, (yet we don't know why he is not the party leader) so I use the wartable and WHAM, game crash. The error log tells me a file is missing afterward. 

I start DD2 total normaly and than i come ito the menu. all is normal than i will join into the Town or into the private tavern. So now come the loading screen and than will crash the game atal error

Can confirm this is still happening on Xbox.  Sometimes I can go a night without a crash, other nights it happens a few times.  I was at a shop screen recently when it happened.  I will provide more details the next time it happens.

Select replay or random map, after crash the game with one FATAL  ERROR.

The game crashes for me before I can even load into the tavern or town. I have tried reinstalling and verifying my files without success

 

Every time I attempt to start any activity away from the public area or private tavern whether it be war table or to go to a private tavern the game will crash, 100% of the time making the game unplayable.

Random Crash´s. Mostly when i´ll be back in Town after dungeon clear.

Having same problem but mine seems to mostly be when i go to town and not tavern. but i also get that long "fatal error file name not found" thing pop up and game crashes annoying as all hell since it's an epic game and if you doing mastery i hate having to relog and do it all over again

When I go back to tavern from completed dungeon, game highly crush. 

 

My game is continuously crashing. The most recent time, however, involved one of the daily quests. I finished one of the missions, collected everything, then as I was headed back to the tavern, I lost my connection. In the process, I lose EVERYTHING I'd just earned in addition to credit for finishing the mission. Even through the crash, I should have kept what I had collected prior to the crash. :(

Yep, almost always going to town game crashes with "fatal error filename not found". Sometimes it's before town is even loaded on screen. If not I just need to jump around there for a while and eventually it will crash.

Never in private tavern or ingame. Started happening sometime end of 2018 patch, before that never happened to me, ever since it been rough, like others here.

 

Doesn't matter if it's from main menu to town, private tavern to town or end of match to town. Worst part is if you get a map you don't want to play, only option is exit (to town), no exit to private tavern back, even if you started there.

The game is constantly crashing for me at random times.  It freezes my entire PC where I have to hard reset it.  It happens while at the market, while in the middle of combat, while in defense phase, etc.  I can usually do one full mission, then the next mission it will freeze.  I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling as well as having the game check for corrupted files.  Nothing seems to work for me.

Still seems to happen, fatal error when you go to the war table (not every time) also sometimes when loading back to town your game just closes

I keep getting the Fatal crash error. Happens about every 20-40 minutes. Usually when I exit a map to go back to town, although it has started happening when I am in town working on inventory management.
